Ayurveda = Science of Life

Ayurveda is the most incredible science I have come across, it is the ancient Indian Medical science and is still well and truly alive in India today. It approaches health not just from a medical perspective but from a real wellness perspective - approaching health by looking at the totality of us as humans, including the mind, the body and the soul. Ayurveda looks to address imbalances BEFORE they become disease within the body.

Ayurveda uses yoga, meditation, herbs, oils, massage treatments, diet and a whole lot more to balance the body.

Since learning and implementing Ayurvedic practices into my life I have literally never felt better. I am breezing through the summers where I used to be overheated and uncomfortable. I have the self knowledge to eat what is ACTUALLY good for me, rather than just following a particular diet. I am in tune enough to know when I need more rest, more exercise or difference foods. I understand myself better than ever, any body image issues I had have faded into the background, I understand OTHERS better and I am genuinely healthier and happier.

Now I want to share that with YOU.

BALANCE: 4-Week Ayurvedic Experiential Training

What's involved:

  • 1 x private one on one online (skype) Ayurvedic consult/coaching session where I’ll diagnose your unique constitution and make sure you know some basics so we can hit the ground running when the group workshops start
  • 4 x online group discourses/workshops where you are free to ask questions and communicate with others in the group
  • Written workshop materials and follow up emails. I’ll supply a bunch of resources that you’ll be able to keep and refer back to forever.
  • Access to the online facebook group, where I’ll be available to answer questions, post extra insights as well as having the group to hold each other accountable
  • 30 days post program support – I’ll keep the facebook group open for a further 30 days from the end of the program and will continue to offer support and answer questions so you aren’t left on your own straight after the program.

Can’t make one or two of the dates? Don’t worry, I’ll send you a recording of each workshop. You can catch up the next day and carry on the course with everyone else!

"My relationship with food had always been a kind of love/hate relationship. Even after studying nutrition and wellness, I struggled even more to be accepting of myself and more loving towards the food I chose to eat. It was a conflicting time, as I navigated my life experiences using food to comfort me in times of emotional, mental and physical stress. I USED food, instead of seeing food as enjoyment, even though I preached this. I silently suffered. Until, I got the balls to speak up and get help. Hannah had coached me for some time previous to my experience of her simple teachings of Ayurveda, so self conscious beliefs and sabotaging behaviour from me was something she was aware of. It wasn’t until I really understood the principles of Ayurveda, that I really understood how valuable this 3,000 year old holistic approach to wellbeing was. My favourite part and biggest lesson was how much Ayurveda highlighted the importance of digestion (which I also preached but wasn’t embodying). Hannah’s simple methods of teaching Ayurveda has continued to stick with me. Over time, I became aware of how snacking was ruining my digestive health and ability to feel clarity and energised. I realised how much sugar I was eating, even though I thought I was ‘healthy’ and most importantly, the new found awareness I had of emotional eating. After continuous efforts to improve and Hannah giving me a kick up the butt at times, I’ve now finally cut the cord of emotional eating. I don’t snack, I can go anywhere from 4-26 hours without food, I have increased energy and focus and most importantly I enjoy my food more because I’m not disrespecting it by using it as a form of distraction from uncomfortable or stressful situations.

Every individual is different and the teaching of Ayurveda and Hannah’s attitude and services supports you in living your dharma (your own authentic truth) and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
